Prosanctus Inferi: Pandemonic Ululations of Vesperic Palpitation

Now that is quite a name for an album! Just look at how much effort they put to come up with the song titles. Too bad they didn't do the same thing when time came to actually write the songs.

Pandemonic Ululations of Vesperic Palpitation (…) is Prosanctus Inferi's debut album. Made of thirteen tracks that last in total just twenty five minutes is a sure sign of un-elaborate work. You will usually find this with core or grind bands, rarely with black metal acts. Short, fast, repetitive, simplistic, bit technical and somewhat melodic are the main guidelines here. Relentless pummeling percussions, ghostly deep rasps (actually quite good ones), leads and tremolo pickings, plus shy bass are the main aspects of their songs. On a few occasions, they introduced some juicy riffs and moderate tempos to go along with them; a nice break as such. Your can hear their good work on: "Priory Darkness of Choral Flesh" and "Cauterizing Unholy Legions" and on their best composition called: "Sacreligious Desecration in Excelsis".

It would be advisable to check them out before investing in this CD.
