Corruption: Bourbon River Bank

Polands very own Stoner Rockers Corruption are fast approaching their 20th anniversary and Bourbon River Bank will hold no real surprises to anyone familiar with their previous work. This is a band that takes its lead from anything Kyuss or Orange Goblin have ever released and at the same time transporting the listener back to the early 70's. Texan Hells Angels look-a-likes Aniol (bass and vocals), Melon (drums), Rufus (vocals), Opath (guitar), and Erol (guitar) have delivered a fuzzy slab of old school Metal that does exactly what it says on the tin. Not a band that would expect to be taken seriously, this is a fun album full of sleaze, drugs and whisky soaked anthems that this bunch of Eastern Europeans have been churning out over the years. Don't go looking for any hidden messages here – there simply aren't any to be found. If you like your Metal to be retro with a capital R then Bourbon River Bank will simply be an essential purchase.
