Dogs For Breakfast: Rose Lane Was Tucker's Girlfriend (EP)

Five track EP from this Italian trio of Noisecore merchants, Rose Lane Was Tuckers Girlfriend is a hyper adrenalin fuelled rush of enthusiasm that differentiates itself from the pack by virtue of some astonishing saxophone wailing. Abrasive and screeching swathes of feedback give the impression at times that this is just a disjointed mess but it does stand up to repeated listening and the more you give it time to really sink in the more rewarding the end result. Dogs For Breakfast have taken the Metal formula and given it their own unique twist and you have to admire their creativity on what is their debut release. Of the five tracks here "Blood River" and "Your God Is Gone" are the real stand outs and the latter can be checked out at their MySpace link below.
