Orange Man Theory: Satan Told Me I'm Right

Noisecore merchants The Orange Man Theory hail from Italy with second full length album Satan Told Me I'm Right being recorded in Nashville and produced by Steve Austin (Today Is The Day, Unsane, Converge). With their reputation as intense live performers' the fiery quartet have built up a core fanbase around the globe and a few minutes in to monstrous opener "Straight to Extinction" it is clear to see why. Relentless aggression from the guitarist Gabbi vies for dominance with the bass rumblings of Cinghio over which vocalist Gianni makes his presence keenly felt.

Not only do they play with a real sense of purpose but there is more than an element of tongue in cheek humour across titles such as "Gimme Some Goat", "Meet Uncle Terror" and the incendiary title track. They bring to mind the now sadly defunct Watford outfit SikTh who threatened to make a real breakthrough a few years back before imploding. Musical mayhem and cacophonous howls with some clever arrangements make this worth diving into for those with an interest in the more Extreme ends of the Metal spectrum.
