Fractured Reality is a new metal release from the band Endangered Reign. Endangered Reign are very much their own band performing original sounding material, vocalist Anthony Cunningham has quite a distinctive voice that also helps to separate Endangered Reign's sound from other bands.
Fractured Reality sounds good and features some impressive artwork. Endangered Reign brings back memories of one of Slayers most remarkable tracks "Raining Blood", with the sounds and drums at the start of "Edge Of The Unreal" but that's where this comparison end. Endangered Reign keep the momentum going with the title track "Fractured Reality", one of this albums best, and track seven "Soul Cages" also shows some real promise. The songs really aren't that bad at all but there's just something missing from this album to really get you pumped up, and take Endangered Reign to the next level.Fractured Reality is a collection of rocking metal without the overly technical musicianship so many bands are now hooked on. These guys have released a solid metal album, but ultimately this recording falls short of the top metal mark, and was in need of some truly killer tracks which would have certainly elevated it further.
