Mechanical Organic, the ongoing project started by Eddie Katz, whose contributions include vocals, backing harmonies, keyboards and programming, returns with a new CD, Disrepair Part Three – Genesis Of A Germ. This time, as before with part two, there are just the two tracks, the vast 25 minute number "Cut Hunter Theory" and the other is a substantially shorter version of that same song.
The subject matter of Disrepair Part Three – Genesis Of A Germ, is to "expose the atrocious experimentation and germ warfare that has taken place on the general public throughout recent history. We unveil the trend towards massive population reductions through the spread of deadly man made diseases such as AIDS and Ebola" so if you're into these sorts of conspiracy theories the time spent listening to "Cut Theory Hunter" will feed your suspicions.
Disrepair Part Three – Genesis Of A Germ is an out of the ordinary release, as well as vocals there are substantial voice-overs talking about events that are related to this albums confronting theme, and what they have to say makes an impact. They are accompanied by the sounds of appealing progressive music which again has heavier components. I am sure that the successful fusion of these elements on "Cut Theory Hunter" has delivered the results that Eddie Katz was seeking, and fans of previous recordings will also be impressed.
