Porcupine Tree: Coma Divine (remaster)

Not much more needs to be said about this landmark late 90's live album from Porcupine Tree, other than the fact that Coma Divine-Recorded Live in Rome is one hell of a great remaster! One of the best live progressive rock albums ever, this new, remastered and expanded release contains a second CD, with four extra tracks not included on the original 1997 recording. The bands blistering attack is captured here in all its glory, with crystal clear sound throughout.

All the standout cuts from the original release are here, like "Signify", the 12-minute space rock frenzy of "The Sky Moves Sideways", the heavy "Dislocated Day", the psychedelic "Moonloop", "Radioactive Toy" (complete with a virtuoso guitar solo from Steven Wilson), the raging guitar rock of "Not Beautiful Anymore", the dreamy "Waiting Phase One & Two", and the brooding melancholy of "The Sleep of No Dreaming." Included here in this expanded set are the goodies "Up The Downstair" (much heavier live), "The Moon Touches Your Shoulder", "Always Never", and "Is...NOT", all great tunes that really make this live set complete. This is one Porcupine Tree experience that will get your heart pumping and your prog rock senses flowing! The band is in top notch form, and successfully combine moody art rock with muscular space explorations like no other combo working today.

So....what are you waiting for? Get to your local retailer, or dial up that modem and click on over to your favorite prog rock web store and get yourself a copy. You won't regret it!
