Deiphago: Fillipino Antichrist

What have I done to deserve this? Hard to believe those guys have been around for 20 years, and this is only their second output! At least this album last less than 30 minutes.

A short, three letters word is all I need to describe the noises that were recorded on this album: BAD! It is a waste of money to record and sell something like this and make people believe it is music. Basically, Delphago is a black metal act. That means an extreme type of music, granted. Still, black metal is music and an art. Those guys play relentless, vicious, cacophonic, un-melodic and hysterical madness. To make matters worst, the production is somewhat raw and muddy with a live feel. You can hear some guitar solos on each songs, but they all sound the same. The vocals a real evil and wicked, I have to give them that. This adds a satanic feel, and prevents this album from getting a zero mark. Then, they play a Sarcofago cover, which is almost like a song. I couldn't believe my ears when I heard some arpeggios and real music opening on the title track." Outro" must have been written by someone else, since it is a short instrumental with melodic symphonic keyboards.

I think you get the point...steer clear of this one.
