Finnish trio, S.D.D. have a released their own self produced 5 song EP entitled Eat It Raw. S.D.D. are your basic run of the mill bar band with an EP. S.D.D. are your basic 3 chord, beer drinking, hard charging, no frills band and with not much else going on.
Eat It Raw has about the same type of charm as your local bar band that has gone into a studio and come out with their 1st EP. With some rough guitar work and some very average written songs, S.D.D. don't really offer up much in the way of quality. EP opener, "Drink With Us" has that Punk-ish flavor where the Ramones influence comes through. Other songs are much less Punk and more blood, sweat and beers. More Classic Rock without the classic. The problem is, it's just boring. S.D.D just misses the mark with this release, it just very simply sounds like a garage band learning how to play and write together and it shows in the 5 songs on this CD. This CD doesn't suck, it's just not good.
