White Mice: Ganjahovahdose

Like the bastard child of a chance coupling between Godflesh and Mayhem comes the masked Rhode Island psychos White Mice. Their lastest release Ganjahovahdose is a rude, crude, bizarre, and extreme collection of noisy, stoner-meets-black metal-meets-grind-meets-avant-garde mind fuck of an album, sure to either awaken your inner sleazy & demented desires or leave you running to press the stop button. Honestly, there's going to be no middle ground with this one, as White Mice have concocted a brutal collection of atrocities here on their 6th release that's either going to scare the neighbors or incite a riot. Punishing guitar riffs & bass grooves, pounding drums, and endless waves of agonizing wails that could have come off of any early 90's Scandinavian black metal release...that's the basis for each and every song here. The song titles and lyrics are totally out of control (gotta love the frenzied attack of the ridiculous "The Ape-Caca-Lips"), and for the most part the music is just as 'out there'. Check out the Mr. Bungle by way of Flipper on the raging cacophany that is "The Crapture", or the putrid noise-core of the demented "Onth' Ragggnorock", complete with some of the juiciest bass riffs and wackiest sound effects around.

Like I said, you'll either love this or absolutely hate it, but my guess is White Mice already know they are going to have that effect on the listener and have planned accordingly.
