There are a few things that you can expect at a Faster Pussycat concert. First would be the abundance of women who are likely to shed articles of clothing. Next you will find that there is always many in the audience who will be under the influence of some sort of mind altering substance. Then of course, you will have the metal onslaught that is a Faster Pussycat glam extravaganza.
These guys make no bones about it. They are about the things that your mother warned you about with rock and roll. There brand of music is loud, in your face and very seldom gets above belt buckle level. In other words, they are just a raunchy good time when all you want to do is exhibit extreme bad behavior or just relish in the anthem like stadium rock that is so addictive.
Born out of the same den of iniquity that brought us Motley Crue and L. A. Guns, Faster Pussycat takes you down to the Sunset Strip with this enjoyable romp through the gutter. There is nothing like a little sleaze to liven up the party! These guys give you 12 chances to see what it is like to be front row for the Faster Pussycat version of The Donkey Show. If that isn't enough there is also a terrific bonus studio cut of their sordid version of The Stones' "I Know It's Only Rock And Roll".
With classic love songs like "Cathouse", "The Power And The Glory Hole", "Porn Star" and "Shut Up And Fuck", the band proves once and for all that a soundtrack for The Chicken Ranch can also be an entertaining bit of rock and roll. These guys aim where they want to with their music and take no prisoners. It is simple music that is designed to make you sing along with the lewd chorus and pump those fists as hard as possible. It totally succeeds it doing so with all the subtlety of an Abrams tank! This is my pick for metal debauchery album of the year. It is lewd, crude and with attitude! I dare you to sit still through the whole disc. It is one of the best party or cruising disc I have heard recently. This is a group that is meant to be heard live and they finally give everyone a chance to do just that.
