Chord: Flora

"CHORD performances consist of each player being assigned one note from a pre-selected chord. They are then expected to consider all ranges of flexibility concerning octave, rhythm, playing style and effect treatments."

Sounds good on paper, doesn't it? Unfortunately, that's the only place where it sounds good. Flora is one big, long-winded dronefest, with a slight variant on the second track only. You know, the kind of disc you put on and there's just this one long note being held forever, so you fast-forward 30 seconds, then a minute, then 2 minutes, and it sounds like you're exactly at the same spot on the disc you were when you started? It's the kind of disc you listen to at night as white noise in order to allow the repetetiveness of the sounds assist your brain in creating theta waves which will allow you to fall asleep.

Not sure who would be interested in this outside the people who actually participated on the disc itself.
