Circle Of Fate: Back To Life

Formed ten years ago the experienced four piece band from Chicago known as Circle Of Live are here with their latest and fourth CD titled Back To Life. A group of able musos that play heavy melodic music, fronted by female vocalist Michele Caruso, with strong support from her bandmates, including the prominent and edgy guitar playing that Danny Charatin disperses on Back To Life.

Circle Of Fate are a band with a wide selection of different genres and well known influences which include "Pat Benetar, Joan Jett, Heart, Dream Theater, Journey, Joe Satriani, Iron Maiden, Porcupine Tree, Steve Vai, Nickelback and Prince just to name just a few".

Back To Life's first track, the hard and heavy "Sanctify", comes to life and sets the tone for the album, with a nice unexpected change. One of Circle Of Fate's leading tunes on the CD, "What If", reminds me of those popular rockers by the likes of Pearl Jam, and woudn't be a bad choice as a single material. You will hear more of Danny's energised guitar work during "It's all about you", which finishes Back To Life nicely.

Circle Of Fate's quality melodic hard rock/metal makes Back To Life a winner, and it's obvious that this band has really got it together.

Track list:
1. Sanctify
2. Skeletons
3. My Religion
4. What If
5. Broke My Heart
6. Unshattered
7. Your Gone
8. Pour Me A Drink
9. Fill The Void

My Score:

I already have a copy of the CD and I saw them play live at Summerfest in Milwaukee this past summer...they are a great band to see live - just a ton of energy from all of them.

They are one of my favorite new bands!!!
