With a blast that eclipses the worlds of R&B, a little punk and the wit of an Everclear, The Neighborhood Bullys have produced a very cool bit of high energy, feel good rock and roll. These guys give you the feeling that the years have been rolled back to the days when the Motown sound ruled but still manage to give it a little bit of a newer metal edge that makes for a most interesting combination of sounds that will have you singing along in no time at all!
From the hilarious "Sux 2 B U" to the almost do-whop style of Go Back (To Drinking) these guys are a pleasant mixture that is sure to be one of the party favorites of the year. It's great to hear a band that sounds like it is having fun for a change and this creates an infectious desire to get your limbs shaking and head a bobbing. Being raised so close to the Detroit area; it's good to see that the legacy of great R & B still lives on with this kind of updated version that will appeal to the rocker in you too. This one is just a good old fashion thirty minutes of good music that will frequent your player many times whenever the mood strikes you for a little bit of soul!
