The Eyes Of A Traitor kick off hard with "Under Siege", the opening track on their new CD A Clear Perception. This UK metal band features a relatively young line-up; they have undoubtedly created a brutal album.
Angry growls complemented with clean melodic vocals, we have certainly heard that before, fierce riffs and crushing drumming, multiple kick patterns all delivered with ease from this able line-up. A Clear Perception sounds fine in the production department; The Eyes Of A Traitor are capable performers with many heavy technical passages. "Escape These Walls" is a very busy track that settles into a cool banging section, "Hands Of Time" another heavy track, I like the lighter moment during this good inclusion.
I'm sure there will be many a metal fan that will really enjoy The Eyes Of A Traitor's new CD A Clear Perception. It's not a bad release at all, but myself I would much rather rather listen to Scar Symmetry or Into Eternity for my mix of clean/aggressive vocals, they are my benchmarks.
