Terror Squad was first distributed in 1987, now Metal Mind Productions have issued a re-release of Artillery's second album with bonus tracks included. Hailing from Demark, this Thrash band formed in 1982 by drummer Carsten Nielsen and guitarist Jørgen Sandau. Artillery would go on to release four studio albums while contending with numerous line-up changes and a period when the band broke up in 1992, they would eventually re-emerge many years later. The band continues to perform with a new album in the works for 2009 according to their website; their last studio album was Jester from 2000. There was also a live DVD/CD combo release in 2008 titled One Foot In The Grave-The Other One In The Trash.
Terror Squad's twin guitar charged sound dominates the eight tracks on this 80s thrasher, exploding with some mad riffs, while the vocals are your classic thrash, nothing amazing but suitable. Artillery's music is raw and in your face heavy screaming thrash metal that will certainly appeal to fans of the late 80's scene, so if you didn't check out Terror Squad back in the day, make sure you pick up Metal Mind's new digipack, complete with 24-bit remastering. Hurry up though as it's limited to 2000 copies.
