Veteran metal act Pro-Pain is back to give you another dose of their brand of heart pumping fury. This time around, not only does the band take the opportunity to hammer you right between the eyes, they also show a melodic side. In between the sledgehammer blows of such songs as "Let The Blood Run Through The Streets", "Halo" and "Phoenix Rising" they give you some of their most accessible songs like when Stephan Weidner lends a hand on vocals during the very catchy "Hour Of The Time". Then there is "To Never Return" which is another song that will have you lip-syncing to the anthem like chorus.
Long time fans will find plenty to keep them satisfied while at the same time there is a definitely a move on the bands part to add some new elements to their sound. Oh they never abandon the style that has taken them this far, not by a long shot. By giving you hints here and there, the band shows that they can and will, keep things interesting and never boring. Who else would add bagpipes to metal!
The album title is: No End In Sight, with the No crossed out. This is in reference to the end of times. It is good to know that the band is planning on going until that happens. This release is another in a very steady stream of good offerings from the group.
