Severed: What It Has Become

They say it takes a brutal nature just to live in New York City. Coming from one of the toughest neighborhoods in the Big Apple, be prepared for a proper Brooklyn beatdown. So it's no surprise that a band hailing from this borough gives you a thrashing unseen out of those city limits! In this debut EP there is just a brief 3 song sampling of what the band has to offer. You had better put your hard hat on for the most part as these metalheads intend to pound you to dust with their fierce savagery.

There is something that sets these guys apart from the norm though. Noticeably on the second song "Real Eyes" they manage to weave a melodic element into the music while still maintaining a heaviness that is only enhanced when vocalist Christian Geraldino transforms from normal singing voice to a nasty death metal growl.

These guys definitely have something to offer. While they might not have the recognition yet, it's only a matter of time. With a work ethic that is unstoppable, these guys are out to show anyone who will listen just what they have to offer. Traveling anywhere they can to play a show, they are slowly expanding their circle and soon you will be drawn into their sphere of influence. These guys are a headbangers dream and every parent's nightmare!!
