Whether it's their cover art, lyrical content, music, or vocals, Polish metal band Pyorrhoea are one extreme act. Metal Mind Productions have now reissued their 2006 release titled The Eleventh: Thou Shalt Be My Slave. The main theme seems to be based around being trapped because of your religious beliefs and not thinking freely or seeing things for what they really are. The Eleventh: Thou Shalt Be My Slave contains lyrics that read like the script from a horror flick as found on the tracks "Your Master Your God" or "Nothing He Can Do" , or sexually explicit lyrics like those of "Everlusting". Let's face it, if CD'ss had an X rating this would be one that carried it. Pyorrhoea's lineup consists of the Drummer known as Desecrate, Bass player Cyprian, Guitarist's A.D. Gore & Lukas, and their Vocalist Chryste.
"Blow" is a brief opener commencing with the sounds of Desecrate's cymbals and a short blast from the band, "Rules Of Slavery" follows with vocalist Chryste uttering the words "The rules of God don't let your will, Consider good or wrong, They are the irons that enslave your mind, And take wisdom away" while the band increases the tempo until Desecrate's drums sound like he's got a jackhammer on his snare. The remainder of the album continues on a heavy path with the odd tempo changes and some nice catches to be found. This offering from Pyorrhoea would not be a bad addition to your extreme collection at all.
