Ignorabimus: Hupodermic Pleasure

Forget the silly, tired cover, this is a band with a modicum of promise and considerable talent. Based in Estonia, Ignorabimus are a curious "Live fast, die young" progressive metal band who wield their talent wisely on the first two tunes here. Sure, the vocals are a little cookie monster-ish but they have their own charm. The one drawback here is the closing track, a "remix" piece that comes across more like the soundtrack to a video game than anything truly hard-hitting. I recommend this largely as a collector's item and encourage you to watch this young band and wait patiently for them to mature into a fully-developed something. An "A" for enthusiasm, a "C" for overall execution.
