The re-release of the third album by this 80's heavy metal band, continues
right where their previous disc leaves off. Thunderous stadium rock and roll
with no let up from start to end. Adding a second guitarist (Mick Tucker) on
this disc only added to the powerhouse sound that is Tank. Harsh and very heavy
by the standards of the day, this band is realizing now what should have been
their due at the time. Metal Mind has capitalized on this resurgence of interest
in the band with a series of gold disc releases including bonus tracks. For
those that crave the anthem like rock and roll of that era, this is one of the
albums that helped create it! Even though it did not get wide acclaim, it is now
thought of as an influential work to other bands of the era as well as a tasty
treat for those who are fans of the group.
Using war as the theme for the brutal guitar thrashing that they hammer you
with, it seems as appropriate as any concept for the metal savagery that they
bestow upon you. Fist pumping, foot stompin' rock and roll is what you asked for
and that is just what you get. This album takes no prisoners. So if you want
something to throw into the CD changer in between Van Halen and Moterhead, here
it is. Just skip the useless bonus tracks.
