UK synth-pop legends OMD reunite on this 17-song live set recorded May 19th, 2007 at the Hammerstein Apollo in London. While many will certainly remember the band's 80's hits "Souvenir", "Joan of Arc", and "Electricity", it's the more ambient/electronic fare that really pushes the envelope here, with members Andy McCluskey, Paul Humphreys, Malcolm Holmes, and Martin Cooper pumping out some stirring electro-trance-techno-pop tunes like "The New Stone Age", "Sealand", "The Beginning and the End", and the lavish "Enola Gay". With plenty of fluttering synths, electric & acoustic drums, and VERY British sounding vocals, Architecture & Morality & More is a lively affair that should instantly appeal to 80's new wave and synth-pop fans, especially those who have waited for many years for the classic OMD line-up to perform together once again. The CD booklet comes with plenty of neat live photos from the event, although sadly no commentary or essay on the show.
