Hurtlocker: Embrace The Fall

Burdened with one of the most pedestrian names in metal, Hurtlocker unleashes a series of mediocre metalcore retreads marketed as "thrash." The opening "I Am Napalm" runs out of juice by the first chorus (unfortunately, we're subjected to about 87 more); "Let Them Die" has some swing but not enough feeling or melody to be true thrash metal and by the time the listener hits track seven ("Release Of Sin") or eight ("Destroying Bliss"), he becomes confused as to whether he's heard this riffs elsewhere on the album or if they're just so generic that he might have heard them from one of the one billion bands overpopulating the metal world. And calling a song "Outside Are The Dogs"? What's up with the eighth grade poetic syntax, guys? Star Wars you watched too much?
