Trencher: When Dracula Thinks "Look At Me"

London's premiere Casiocore outfit Trencher re-unleashes its soul splattering 2004 effort to a crowd of unsuspecting ears. When you think about it long and hard you'll wonder if, in fact, these cats were the cats that made Genghis Tron what it is today, or if Trencher occupies such a unique place in the Bizzarecore universe that any attempt to tame and describe––heck to even listen with patience and virtue––that discussing it in traditional terms or even traditional language is worthwhile. Novel without the winking, loud and abrasive with a sense of purpose––each track does in fact create a distinct mood–– When Dracula Thinks "Look At Me" makes you rethink your prejudice toward some of these'n here underground novelties. But Trencher is above and beyond that, as demonstrated across its rich discography, and, when the dust settles on this decade and all the sonic tomfoolery that's come along, Trencher will be remembered as one of the few that did all this jazz with sense and style.
