Bleach 03 is comprised of three young girlz from Japan bent on taking the what-the-hell sounds of Primus, running it through a sonic blender so that it comes out to a nice Slayer-meets-Melt Banana purée, then asking listeners to wash it all down with a side of The Melvins and Red Hot Chili Peppers. While the girls get up to plenty of wackiness during the title cut and "Samurai Jungle," there are pauses for more traditional fare via "The Rule Of The Peacock" and "Pulse." It ain't all good times, though, some of the album's middle selections––"Get You Human" and "Not Peter" are fairly hard going, even for ears tuned in to adventurous rock. But if The Head That Controls Both The Right and Left Sides Eats Meats and Slobbers Even Today is any indication, these Rising Sun badasses will be churning out fun and exhilarating music for some time to come.
