New Hampshire based The Network should at the very least be given some credit for it's clever album title on their debut album but as far the actual music goes they should go back to the drawing board. Sure there are plenty of blast beats, dissonant guitars and a strange mix of shrieking hardcore and death metal style vocals, but when you throw it all together it just sounds like one massive headache to be honest. If the premise here was to create an album full of cacophonous aggression that is devoid of any kind of real musical direction then I guess you could consider this experiment a raging success, otherwise..
