Metalium: Nothing To Undo (Chapter Six)

We have reached Chapter Six of the saga. Metalium return with Nothing To Undo. The band has become very popular in Europe, but are still trying to break through in North America with their brand of what can best be described as power metal. The sound should be considered more of an "old school" power metal, nothing overly technical, but driving and anthemic. The band is proficient, but what stands out are the vocals of Henning Basse, showing good range and versatility. That's not to take away from the nice guitar work of Matthias Lange. "Spirits" and "Straight Into Hell" are classic Metalium. There is also a cover of the classic Queen song "Show Must Go On", which lends itself well to this style of Metal. They've done a good job at carrying on the saga here with what should be considered a characteristic Metalium CD. If listened to as part of the entire saga this would be a much more enjoyable listen, so your best bet is to start from the beginning and work your way up to this one.
