Kingdom of Glory: Volume 2

Enclave Records out of Portugal was created with one purpose and that is to offer exposure to unsigned young talent from all over the world. They produce two different series' at the moment, one being Metal Ostentation which focuses primarily on Death, Thrash and Black metal etc. and the other is the Kingdom of Glory volumes which concentrate more on progressive and power/ symphonic metal. This second volume of Kingdom Of Glory serves up some great examples of what the world has to offer in terms of unsigned and largely unheard of talent within these sub-genres of metal. No stone is left unturned as bands from all over Europe and all the way to Japan check in with their submissions. While some of the songs included on this volume are demo tracks, the quality isn't always as good as it could be. However this is a really minor complaint as the majority of the tracks benefit not only from good sound production but from their varied and strong performances as well. This is a great way to get exposed to some new talent and there is surely something for any metal fan to discover on Kingdom of Glory.
