Porno Coma: Ambassadors of Embarrassment

I am embarrassed listening to this album, no pun intended. Let me tell you why.

Either this album was meant to sound like they are playing in a public restroom, or it is just bad. On top of that, the bass and guitar melodies sound out of tune. You can be the biggest bass/guitar prodigy in the world and still sound like shit if you don't complement the rest of your band.

Ultimately, none of the songs have time to even develop. Porno Coma is more interested in throwing in another time change or annoying harmonic. Songs like "Relief," which has a decent chugging part, are lost in an array of speed-ups and slow-downs, and then 4 or 5 piercing harmonics.

I can honestly say that I will never listen to this album again. If I hear it in a bar, I will run out into the street screaming. If I hear it in someone's car, I will hurl myself, in fetal-position, out the window and onto the road shoulder.
