Paradise Lost: Reflections

Initially I was disappointed with Paradise Lost's last release One Second. In fact, I did a review for Sea of Tranquility stating my hatred for it. Since then, you should know that I now listen to One Second quite often. It took a long time to grow on me and now I realize that there are a wealth of songs at the end of the disc that are excellent.

Unfortunately, none are included here, but one wouldn't expect a "greatest hits" package to include non-standard hits.

As far as the favorites go, it has the majority of them. Reflections isn't lost in only the new cds either, it puts out Rotting Misery and Gothic proudly. Decide for yourself, here's the tracks:

The live version of "As I Die" is really poor. I am happy that they included the original to offset the disappointment. "As I Die" from the Draconian Times tour box is much better.

Either way, fan or not, this spread is a great purchase.
