Death & Taxes: Theenigmathatisman

The vibe for this CD is hard to find. Firstly, the vocalist . . . shouldn't. The production leaves much to be desired and the composition is markedly lacking. Now, some listeners favor a very raw, unpolished sound, but this doesn't even quite capture such an intention. I’m afraid I don't find a lot to recommend this particular CD. I believe the group has some potential, but this effort comes across as one given before the band has rightly matured. And they'll need to replace or dramatically improve the lead vocalist to earn a real audience.
