This is a wonderful new release from Nikolo Kotzev featuring the vocal talents of Joe Lynn Turner, Tony Harnell (TNT), Goran Edman (x Malmsteen) and Erik Martensson (Eclipse). Kotzev has a disarming ease with the composing and production of majestic 1980 eras hard rock. This piece could easily be the follow-up to Rainbow's Bent Out of Shape. It is a pleasure to hear Turner wrap his gifted pipes around these new tunes, rather than say around eighties and nineties cover tunes. "Dreams" is the best Turner rock ballad since "Street of Dreams." Edman offers up a stirring Jon Oliva moment on "Bad Madman". Nelko Kolarov on keys sounds like a clone of Don Airey here and excellent musicianship and searing guitar work by Kotzev grace the twelve tracks on this album. This album is truly a must have for fans of Rainbow and vintage eighties European rock.
