Memoria Avenue: Memoria Avenue

Modern Norwegian Melodic Rock/AOR outfit Memoria Avenue dive in deep with their debut self-titled offering of Memoria Avenue, naturally coming up with a performance throughout to be described as a complete and utter blinder that is combined with a mixture of catchiness and clever song writing that exceptionally becomes a very sizable winner here.

Furthermore, Memoria Avenue appear as a masterful quintet and they without holding back seem to have all of the goods packed when coming to produce a melodically constructed Rock album jam packed with a superior range of material to distribute to the congregation that listens on before of them.

Holding their ground strongly without any drawing back or losing any ounce of ambition, the avenue escorts a wise level of determination to the wings of the table to sit alongside a group of magnificently penned outputs arriving in a gracious structural format inspiringly expressed through tracks like the triumphant single of 'Stranded', the pristine effort in the name of 'Can't Blame It on the Rain' and the wonderfully suited ready n' steady Rocker 'Run with Me'.

Personally, I feel it is a very difficult task to knock down any of the work projected out from this record in any shape or form and for me this most definitely an extremely significant release for the band entering the wide domains for this particular style of music.

When you have the astonishingly gifted numbers like the grandeur opener 'Stuck' and the beautifully crafted mid-tempo heart warmer 'Sometimes', how could anyone possibly resist the temptation of this brilliant piece of work from the guys from Norway and why would you this is an all killer no filler run of songs from start to finish. However, do not miss out on this, this is a top-class effort to say the least, especially if you are big fanatic of all things AOR and Melodic Rock and I would say that I am highly looking forward to hearing a sophomore record from Memoria Avenue in the very near future that for me in all honesty cannot come any sooner.
