Various Artists: At The Movies: The Soundtrack Of Your Life - Vol. 1 & 2

A couple of albums of hard rock/metal covers of 80’s and 90’s movie soundtrack tunes? Do we need this? Is it a cool concept? The answer to both is yes! This project is the brainchild of Chris Laney (Pretty Maids), and is essentially a supergroup, with Royal Hunt drummer Allan Sørensen, Björn “Speed� Strid (Soilwork, The Night Flight Orchestra), Linnéa Vikström (Ronnie Atkins, Therion), Morten Sandager (ex-Pretty Maids), Pontus Egberg (King Diamond, Wolf), and Pontus Norgren (Hammerfall).

Are there better ways to spend your time during lockdown? Maybe, but they’re probably not as much fun. This may be a guilty pleasure, but it is a pleasure!
