Infinite & Divine: Silver Lining

In the essence of a surprising output for a new release this year, the Illustrious Swedish duo consisting of vocalist Terrese Person (also known as Tezzi) and songwriter/music producer Jan Akesson becomes a possible number one contender for album of the year; escorting a dense volume of Melodic Hard Rock combined with a fresh dressing of a Progressively layered Heavy Metal style that notably hits the spot and in theory becomes a warmly welcoming varied product of perfection as a whole unified record.

Well, what can I say - the moonlighting title Silver Lining peaks on this offering highly from the ambitious pair and it vastly appears fiercely as a wild roller-coaster ride filled with raw emotion, grit, a high intensity and absolute dominance.

Moreover, Silver Lining is just a wonderful benefaction embedded with the purest gold and it strikingly hits you straight in the face with a bombastic wave of force right from the commencing notes of the ferociously constructed first track 'I'll Feel Alive'.

Tezzi is just on fire throughout the entire album and for me just delivers every vocal line with a complete punch and an alluring passion, consistently there is just no way of holding her back with her sublime power and her effective musical distribution; evidently witnessed on tracks like the magnificent AOR saturated single 'Infinite & Divine, the excellent Power Metal infused fire breather 'Burn No More' and the enchanting Symphonic edge of the deliciously pompous 'We Are One'.

Comprehensively, I can honestly say that I could not say one bad word to notably reflect on this entire effort from the masterful Swedes and I must note that the neatly confined hooks throughout the eleven epically profound episodes lodged in the fragments of Silver Lining are just out of this world; each and every one stands tall in their own individual right and they perfectly create a fine art of some Progressively minded Melodic Hard Rock that will rock the socks off of just about anyone who hears its power and pure strength.

Additionally, I have to constructively point out that from the grasps of this contemporary release, one song I think that may end up being my possible contender for song of the year so far neatly lies within and that for me comes across as just absolute perfection. Furthermore, this successfully comes with an uplifting sense of pride and this is formatted gracefully in the name of the fantastically polished hair raiser 'Off the End of the World'; graciously packed with the commanding hooks, the amazingly vocalised lines from Tezzi, the awe-inspiring production layered in the musical structures and the efficient talented work from Akesson - to methodically make this an instant AOR classic and this entry should be a huge hit that rapidly explodes with one hell of a bang.

My Score:

Very wordy and turgid review--say more with less words!
