Dekonstruktor followed up their unearthly blast of droner-doom - Eating The Universe - with an unearthly blast of droner-doom - Fuck Life We Go Further. The former recorded in 2014 and the latter a year later.
Slightly more structured than what had come before, this four track, twenty minute blast is still a patience shredding grind on the emotions and still challenges you to rip, gnaw and tear at its skin in order to get underneath it. “This Is The Ticket To The Endless Ride” does offer at least some semblance of groove and structure, while “Tonight” is more about unnerving and unsettling through doomy atmospheres. With the opening “Black Acid” a grinding squelch of guitars and the closing “We Go Further” almost like a despairing unmusical heartbeat, don’t expect much in the way of ‘song’ here. That was never the intention but then I’m not sure engagement was high on the agenda either.
