Fight The Fight's names are certainly enigmatic and don't exactly give much away: Lars Vegas - vocals, Amok - guitars, Lord - guitars, HM - bass and Detyler – drums. Bio-wise we are told that the band," has already been a band, though under a different name (Faenskap), for more than a decade… It`s the classic story of childhood friends and schoolmates forming a band whose dreams and ambitions run high…Fight The Fight are destined for great things and their debut record is a testament to it." Sadly, I have to take the great things quote with a large dollop of sodium chloride as this eponymous debut is more capable than outstanding. If all the rest of the tracks were as good as the opening twosome then we might be talking, however, thereafter things take a turn down Metalcore-by-numbers Avenue and whilst not actively being terrible everything is sadly uninspired. There's definitely talent within the band and hopefully their second album will see growth in the songwriting for a much more cohesive effort.
