This is the debut album from two Australian musicians, J. R. (drums, guitar, bass, vocals) and P.W. (guitar, vocals). Though Coffin Lust is a new project, J. R. and P. W. have experience with bands such as Nocturnal Graves, Denouncement Pyre, Trench Hell, and others. The purpose of this album was to create a strong death metal album steeped in the sound and style of the late 80s and early 90s. They succeeded. Check out the title track and "Prophecy of Malevolence."
