Danny Rexon (vocals), Andreas Z Eriksson (guitar), Jens Lundgren (guitar), Joél Cirera (drums) and Jens Sjöholm (bass) are the featured line-up of Crazy Lixx on Sound Of The Live Minority. This is important as vocalist Rexon explains, "We wanted to release this live album both as to mark and end of the old Crazy Lixx as well as a statement of a new beginning for the current line-up. On this show, Jens (Lundgren) had already taken over the guitar duties from our former guitarist Edd Liam so in a sense this gig represents both the old and the new." Andreas Z Eriksson left the band after this show so a curtain is neatly drawn over the band's most recent chapter.
Musically it's mostly a mix of Hair Metal with a millennial attitude and there's a sense of fun running throughout the album which many live albums fail to replicate although when the band chooses to emote as on say, "Blame it on Love" that works just as well. There's not exactly shedloads of originality on offer but that has never been the Lixx's forte, good times are what they offer and deliver and Sound Of The Live Minority gives the band space to think about where to go next and offers their existing fans a useful souvenir whilst giving potential new fans a decent compilation of their best material.
