At their best The Hypothesis sound a bit like early Mercenary as the have quite a way with melody yet when the put their mind to it as on "Exit" they can be pretty brutal. I very much like this track as it kicks all forms of ass yet has a lovely fluid guitar solo contained with its grooves which elevates it into something special. The equally cool "Second Chance" which rounds off the album comes across as a hybrid of Depeche Mode and (insert guitar shredder here) and is an interesting way to round off a satisfying album.
