Black Cobra: Imperium Simulacra

We're only a few months into 2016, but it's already been a great year for sludge / doom metal. This album adds to my ongoing list of superb new releases. Black Cobra has always been a strong band, but this new release is darker and more intense. As always, the guys impressively combine the low end with speed and groove and the result is fast and loud music that deserves a wide audience. Be sure to check out "Eye Among the Blind" "Sentinel (Infinite Observer)" and "Challenger Deep." This band does the music proud. Enjoy!
