Formed as long ago as 2005 under the aegis of lead vocalist Frankie Rich, Billion Dollar Babies (wonder where that came from?) also features Pat Kramer (guitars, vocals) and Max Lander (guitars, vocals) and Chemical God is a high energy mix of sleaze (think Backyard Babies) and more modern production values which has some excellent tracks which really pack a punch such as "Everyone's In Love With A Chemical God", the lengthy, punchy "House of Dreams" (Alice Cooper meets Rocky Horror Picture Show would be an apt description) and "I Want To See You Burn". Unfortunately it has quite a lot of filler in the middle section which takes away some of the oomph and knocks half a star of the grade. Clearly there is excellent potential here and perhaps the next record will fulfill the promise.
