To celebrate their 20th anniversary as a band, Belgian death metal horde Aborted are releasing Termination Redux, an EP containing 3 new songs and a re-recording of "The Holocaust Incarnate", which originally appeared on their 2001 album Engineering the Dead. The title track, "Vestal Disfigurement Upon the Sac", and "Bound in Acrimony" are your typical Aborted styled technical/grinding death metal, with jackhammer drum blasts, brutal riffing, and a non stop assault of screams, bellows, grunts, and death growls courtesy of Sven De Caluwe. Each of these new tunes are short & compact, 2-3 minutes of manic extreme metal guaranteed to melt your brain and pound your entire body into submission. "The Holocaust Re-Incarnate" is given an even more relentless treatment, the guitars more massive, the vocals slightly more gruesome, and the rhythms relentless as ever.
Termination Redux will be available mid January 2016 on vinyl and digital formats. It's a tasty little package of gore to hold you over till Aborted' next full length platter of splatter hits the abattoir.
