Oraculum (Chile): Sorcery of the Damned

This is Oraculum's debut EP and it's pretty good. It isn't long, only about 25 minutes or so, but it starts strong and keeps things going until the end. The music is pretty much a blend of black and death metal with a nod to bands like Pentagram, Bolt Thrower, Order from Chaos, and others like them. The music is pretty good overall, but the sound quality is a little weak, emphasizing a bit too much of the high end and not enough of the back end. Fans looking for some new black metal may enjoy this one. The band seems really promising.
