Maillard, Brian: Reincarnation

Reincarnation is Swiss guitarist Brian Maillard's second solo album. Maillard, from the bands Solid Vision and Dominici, performs some incredible guitar solos in this instrumental extravaganza.

On his second solo album Maillard enlists the support of guest artists, Bryan Beller; Lorenzo Feliciati; and Max Gelsi, on bass; Marco Minemann and Yan Maillard on drums to create some wonderful Dream Theater like guitar runs with sweeping landscapes of howling lead electric guitars and some intermingling key effects.

Maillard's performance of Leonard Cohen's famous "Hallelujah" was by far the high point for me.

If you are a Dream Theater fan who enjoys instrumental guitar orchestrations you will love this album.
