Having noted all this, I have to say that on my first run through of the album I absolutely hated it…with a passion. I found it to be meandering, listless and even worse, dull. However, Clearly it is only fair to give all our reviews a chance so I gave it a few more whirls and more and more it began to grab me. I'm not prepared to call this album a classic but Hiili Hiilesmaa - drums Kalle Sundström - guitar Jukka Puurula - bass Teppo Haapasalo – voice have actually achieved much of what they set out to achieve. This is defiantly uncommercial sludgey 1970s style rock music. Tracks such as "The Method" and the slightly more melodic opener "Verbal" have real depth and scope and whilst this isn't the type of music I naturally turn to I can appreciate the quality on offer.
