This is definitely one of the best written and sounding metal albums I've heard lately. Instead of the usual muddy mix of chainsaw guitars and screaming vocals, this stuff is totally clear and very easy to listen to. Incredible guitar playing fills the whole disc, "It Aint Like That" being my personal choice for the coolest riff-solo activity.
Fans of Dehumanizer-era Sabbath rumble will dig this band. The low end is massive, but always clear - very difficult to achieve in this genre of music. Standout tracks are the quick "Snake Eyed Savior", the stop/start riddled "Never" and the moody "Violent Truth".
