Lomax, Jackie: Against All Odds

During his career Jackie Lomax is best known as being signed by the Beatles' label and actually having a song written for him by George Harrison, "Sour Milk Sea". However, Jackie never reached the heights of fame that his mentors achieved.

His last album, Against All Odds, is a great career closing album which covers twelve solid rock songs which bring the flavor and melody of that early 1970s sound that was shared on both sides of the Atlantic.

Performing with Jackie Lomax, who plays guitars and sings lead vocals are: Davy Dover on bass; Adam Goldberg, on drums; Dave Goldberg, on keyboards; Brian Jones, on tenor and alto saxophones; Steve Parry and Tony Peers on trumpet. Lomax is backed up vocally by the talents of Louise Chase, Dionne Moss, and Doreen Edwards.

This is a great album of straight ahead rock and roll from the late 1960s and early 70s. take a trip back and enjoy some solid rock delivered with passion.
