For the uninitiated, this band was originally formed in Sardinia, Italy by Simone Piu and Francesco Manna in 1999 and played in clubs, pubs and stages on the regional circuit as a cover band for years, performing classics from the Rolling Stones to Lynyrd Skynyrd, from The Doors to Elvis. They began working on their compositions in 2001. This album appears to have been recorded approximately four years ago and the video for the title track has been online for the best part of a couple of years now. Quite what has been going on since the album was recorded is beyond my knowledge but there is no reason why this should be left on the shelf.
What we find here are ten sleazy rock 'n' roll tracks which at times hint at the Stones, the Quireboys, the Bottle Rockets or even the Supersuckers. The tunes have been soaked in the proverbial bottle of whisky and smell of bar rooms and distilled into ten finely-honed slabs of rock in the vein of the aforementioned bands none of which outstay their welcome, which, in this day and age is a welcome outcome.
