Kayser: Read Your Enemy

Former Spiritual Beggars vocalist Spice put together this classic metal band Kayser back in 2004, and they are back once again with another slab of metallic mayhem titled Read Your Enemy. With a line-up that now also includes Swaney & Jokke on guitars, Biff on bass, and drummer Bob Ruben, and help from session musician Simon Mårtensson on organ, Fender Rhodes, and Mellotron, Kayser is a spirited riff fest for any fan of classic metal sounds. Spice has the perfect gruff delivery for these super crunchy tunes, whether it be the thrashy "Where I Belong", the shred guitar frenzy of "Almost Home", or the beefy, bruising power metal of "Bring Out the Clown", "Bark and Bow", and "Carved in Stone". If you love heavy, guitar based metal with loads of inventive riffing and explosive solos, you've come to the right place.
